Two years ago I was experiencing my first internship…ever. It was an unfamiliar place, with different people, something I wasn’t use to, yet I loved the musical aspect of it all. That unfamiliar place I now call home serves exactly just that. I can’t ever seem to get away, and those different people I mentioned earlier, yeah I’m thankful to know that I don’t just have immediate family here in Phoenix. They’ve taught me so much, how to craft my skills and encourage me to do more but most importantly to follow my heart.
Fast-forward two years and I’ve experienced more than ever in my life, at my own will which tells me that I don’t just enjoy what I do, I am unconditionally in love with it. I’ve never been in love before, but love is love, and I can no longer blame friends for rather spending time with their significant other than me. Ha.
It’s a funny thing… me involved in radio. I remember listening to the radio with my mom as a young buck when we lived in LA, but if you had told me back then that I would be talking on the radio at age 21, I most definitely wouldn’t believe you. Crazy how life turns out sometimes, and for me this is only the beginning. God has a plan for all of us, I just never thought this would be mine and yet I could not be happier.
